Your role will be to continue driving brand growth through fostering strong merchant relationships in the electrical merchant channel.  
With a small team reporting in (2 direct and 3 indirect) and fantastic customer relationships already in place, your first role will be to secure these before looking for new opportunities for growth. The team are capable and hungry for success. Some exposure to the electrical sector would be useful, but not essential. Some of their recent appointments have some from completely different sectors, but you will need to be able to quickly learn about your sector to build credible relationships.
The division has exceptionally strong merchant relationships as a result of a high level of trust built over many years. While this has enabled strong growth, there are still opportunities to further develop the business and grow market share.
This role will appeal to experienced Sales Managers, perhaps seeking to join a market leader with great development opportunities and brands or Key Account Managers seeking to step up. Whatever your situation you will enjoy leading from the front and building exceptional relationships with your customers. It goes without saying you are interested in building high performing teams and are able to coach and demonstrate superior negotiation skills.
The role involves some travel out of town, about a week a month.
